Why schools need us:
An unprecedented number of children and young people are struggling with mental health. Our assemblies and workshops build mental health resilience in school children by equipping them with tools to help them navigate life’s challenges.
- 20% of adolescents experience a mental health problem in any given year.
- 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14
70% of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
‘What’s Your Genius?’ Workshop overview:
Albert Einstein once said, “Everyone is a genius… But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.” In our Genius Workshop, students are invited to uncover their unique thinking, learning, and communication styles, which we call their natural ‘Genius’. Through engaging quizzes, challenges, and games, they build confidence in their individual strengths, learn to avoid comparisons with others, understand more about neurodiversity, explore their passions, and appreciate the value of working together.

By fostering self-discovery, appreciating diversity, and promoting collaboration, the ‘What’s Your Genius’ Workshop empowers students to embrace their individuality and gives a vision of how they can use their ‘genius’ to make positive contributions to their communities.

During the Workshop We Explore:

Neurodiversity (dyslexia, ADHD, Autism etc):
Whilst it presents some of us with difficulties, it can also be a superpower!

Each child’s unique ‘Genius’ type:
We learn about our natural strengths and abilities through fun games and challenges.

Why we should not compare ourselves to others:
We learn to focus on our own strengths and how our strengths can support others

The importance of teamwork:
We explore how the world’s biggest projects required all 4 Genius Types to collaborate.

Setting positive goals and doing more things we love:
We learn how this can help us feel happier and more hopeful about the future.

The value of kindness and serving others:
Helping us live more fulfilled and happy lives.
